Togakushi
Togakushi Shrine consists of five shrines. The approach to the Okusha shrine is approximately two kilometers long, having a red gate with thatched roof named Zuishinmon in the middle of the path. This is followed by giant cedar trees over 400 years old along the road on both sides. After the visit of the shrine Soba noodle is highly recommended in Togakushi area.
Mt. Iizuna(1917m) is located closed to Togakushi shrine and is know as the place of mountain faith from middle age and also the training place of Ninja. You can enjoy the view of Northern alps and surroundings from the top.
